- 2020-$5,000 grant to help fund Campus Improvements at Sadie’s Place, specifically, for the purchase of one manual wheelchair and one power wheelchair.
- 2015 − $17,500 grant was used as a challenge grant to fund the next phase of the scent detection research. Assistance Dogs was able to get two other donors to match the donation at $10,000 per donor.
- 2014 − A $25,000 grant was used as a matching challenge grant to fund the next phase of the scent detection research by Assistance Dogs of Hawaii. Assistance Dogs of Hawaii trained the service dogs to alert for urinary tract infections which can be life threatening to a wheel chair bound person.
- 2013 − A $20,000 grant was used as a challenge grant to fund the next phase of the scent detection research. Assistance Dogs was able to train their dogs to alert for Urinary tract infections which can be extremely serious in wheelchair bound individuals.
- 2013 − A $40,000 grant donation to help fund the Canine Scent Detection for Diagnosis of Urinary Tract Infections in Quadriplegic or Paraplegic Adults research study (Scent detection study).
- 2012 − A $20,000 grant for unrestricted support allowing Assistance Dogs of Hawaii to provide service dogs to qualified applicants free of charge and follow up for the life of the dogs. http://assistancedogshawaii.org/
