  • Imua Family Services − A $15,000 grant for additional funding for study related costs for the Early Childhood Development Program research study,  which looked to measure whether or not continued therapeutic support to children age 3-6 with mild to moderate developmental delays improves education performance by age 3 and reduces the number of children who require special education services.   • Lahainaluna High School Foundation − A $7,500 grant to start the Luna Café on campus of Lahainaluna High School for the culinary students program. The program provided students opportunities to learn aspects of food preparation, service and on campus marketing of the meals they sold on campus. Education  http://www.lahainalunahs.org/ 
  • Lahainaluna High School Foundation − A  $20,000 grant to purchase 12 iMac computers, 2 digital cameras and one wireless microphone to help start the Digital Media program at Lahainaluna High School. Education  http://www.lahainalunahs.org/
